Our History
Our Mission
Hearts Academy was started in 2004 as Trinity Home’sCool Depot with 103 students. Trinity Home’sCool Depot was located on Austell Powder Springs Road in Powder Springs, Georgia in an eight-room house. The non-profit tutorial center quickly outgrew that small building. It was 5 years before the ministry was moved to Fambrough Drive. Many of the tutors have served alongside Bonnie Gray and Kealei Castle since that first year including Joyce Maldenado, Katie Voyles, Jennifer Deaton and Yvette Maynard.
The mission of Hearts Academy of Excellence (also known as Trinity Home’s Cool Depot) is as follows: to equip home school families, community, parents, and students with the requisite tutorial classes, support groups, resources and enrichment programs to maximize parental involvement and provide a comprehensive, individualized learning experience which results in each student’s educational success, without regard to their economic circumstances.
Regardless of whether an individual takes part in tutorial classes at Hearts Academy, families are invited to join us for field trips, play dates, skate dates, parties, and more. We desire to be a blessing to our home school community and encourage others in their home school journey.
